Not your typical business loan
Esme were new to the business loan market, and they were able to offer something new. Their loans were quick and they were flexible and, without the hang-ups of a traditional bank loan, they created a product that was a little less formal, and a little more entrepreneurial in its nature.
With the collaboration of Airside Nippon, we brought this entrepreneurial attitude to life in to the form of an illustrated hare – a character we soon had bounding across the UK in print and digital and highlighting some of the obstacles and offerings that would resonate with our SME audience.
RESULTS
With a fraction of the marketing budget available to its competitors, Esme has grew its market share from under 1% to over 5% in just 12 months, and achieved levels of awareness comparable to more established players in the business loans sector.
